Caderno Escolar–School Drawing Pad

Achei muito caro os cadernos de desenho de capa dura, mas tinha que mandar no material escolar, resolvi tentar fazer uma. Comprei um caderno de desenho normal baratinho. Tirei o arame e segurei as folhas com pregadores.

I thought the hard cover drawing pads were just too expensive, but we needed one for school, so I decided to make my own. I bought a simples and cheap one and took of the wire, I held the sheets together with clothespins

Fiz uma colagem de figuras de uma revista de Efraim, em cima da capa velha, frente a atrás. fiz o nome com adesivos de scrapbook e plastifiquei. Usei meu crop-a-dile para furar de novo a capa, juntei as capas novas com as folhas e coloquei de novo o arame, es está pronto, um caderno personalizado e único!

I glued diferents images from an old magazine on top of the old cover, the front and the back, I made his name from scrapbook stickers and than I laminated the back and the front. Using my crop-a-dile I made holes in it again, I put it all together, put the wire back and ready is the new and personal and unique drawing pad!

Colchonete Escolar de cara nova!

Uma das coisas que tinha que mandar no material escolar no inicio do ano foi o colchonete escolar. Tinha o do ano passado mas achei tão feio que resolvi dar uma cara nova!

One of the things we had to send to school at the beginning of the year was a small school matras. I had one from last year but it was so ugly that I had to give it a new look!

Olha só meu ajudante fofíssimo!

Feio demais, de plastico!

So ugly made of plastic!

Coloquei o colchonete em cima do tecido de safari e cortei do mesmo tamanho, cortei também do mesmo tamanho um pedaço de um cobertor velho para ficar mais fofinho!

I put the old matrass on top of the safari fabric and used it as a template, I got the same size of a piece of and old fleece blanket to make it softer!

Costurei tudo junto com viés, costurei em cima do colchonete velho mesmo, aproveitando o lado plastico que agora é o lado debaixo.

I sewed it all together with bias tape, I sewed it on top of the old matrass so the plastic part is now the bottom.

Em cima fiz um laçinho e embaixo uma fitinha para poder segurar quando enrolar o colchonete. Colocquei uma camada a mais de cobertor em cima para servir como travesseiro, fiz uma costura para segurar tudo no lugar.

I made a small loop on top and two strings on the bottom to tie it all together when rolling up the matrass. I put an extra layer on the top side to serve as a pillow, I sewed across to keep it all in place.

Prontinho e bem mais fofo não é verdade?

Fiz este marcapaginas de CD velho, adoro porque tenho um monte de CD’s velhos! Encontrei a idéia no flickr. Eu mesmo fiz este desenho mas clicando no foto embaixo você vai encontrar um tutorial de Arte e Mimos.

Quadro de tecido, feltro e bordado

Outra arte que fiz na casa de minha sogra, foi um pacote completo que ganhei de minha amiga dos Estados Unidos, tem o molde e todo material e instruções, só mudei a frase que era em inglês

Another piece of art I made when we were with my mother-in-law, it was a complete package I got from a friend in the USA, it had the template, materials and complete instructions, I only changed the phrase that was in English

Foi todo feito a mão, o fundo em algodão e as detalhes em feltro e bordado

It was all handmade, the back in cotton fabric and the details in felt and embroidery

Legal foi que aprendi até umas coisas novas, como o bordado das flores na casinha de passaros!

Nice thing is I got to learn a few new things, like the embroidery of the flowers around the birdhouse!

Caixinhas–Boxes

Alguns anos atrás tive uma idéia para fazer caixas com tampa vazado, mandei fazer (tem alguém no centro de Fortaleza que faz tudo de mdf e vende bem barato, pedi ele e fez do jeito que quis, baratinho!). Bem levei as caixas para Holanda para fazer lá, faltou tempo, mas esta vez quando a gente estava lá resolvi fazer, ficou muito legal!

A few years ago I had an idea to make boxes with an open lid, I had them made in the center of Fortaleza where a guy works with wood, I explained the way I wanted it and he made them exactly the way I wanted for very cheap! Well, I took the boxes to paint in Holland when we went, but I had no time, but this time when we were there I decided to go for it and they turned out so pretty!

Furei aos redor do vazado e lixei e pintei a tampa e a caixinha. O lado de fora da caixa é feito com decupagem com guardanapo, a tampa é decorado com respingos de tinta feito com escova de dente

I drilled holes around it and than sanded and painted the lid and the box. The outside of the box is decorated with decoupage with napkins, the lid is decorated with little drops of white paint made with a toothbrush

Passei arame com continhas que combinam com a cor da caixa, ficou um encanto!

I put wire with beads through the holes, I used combining colors, they all turned out so cute!

 

Colar de camisa velha = necklaces from old shirts

Aproveitei algunas retalhos que tinha de camisas velhas e fiz alguns colares, é muito simples, só precisa de tiras de malha e algumas contas, cada colar tem 3 a 4 tiras.

I used up some old scraps of old tshirts to make some necklaces, its very simple you just need to cut some strips of jersey materials and some beads, each necklace has about 3 to 4 strand.

Esas são sem contas, também fiz um com uma trança

These are without beads, I also made one braiding.
