I have been busy this week and done some scrapping!!!!! I finally finished the last few pages of my son´t first year book (about time, as in June he´s turning 2!!!). Most part I already did hybrid, but I still had some digital pics left and have used some quicpages for that. There are so many great quickpages around, why not use them, and be done quick and get on with some more scrapping right? I was so sad to have missed the chat with June at SDK this week, it was on creating papers, but I did get the donwloads from the thread at the forum and started designing a bit, I´m pretty satisfied with the result. Have used some CU overlays I had downloaded already and used the colourscheme for June challenge this week. So there are 2 paperpack to download for you!!!!!!

I won I won I won!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Icouldn´t believe it when Bannerwoman PMd me that I had won the colourscheme contest she had on digishoptalk. Wednesday after a long day working in the favela I chekcked my mailbow and saw the add in her newsletter, so I thought why not give this challenge a try, I had never done it before, so I was very pleased with 20$ on my paypal. This was actually the first time ever I have money on my paypal hehe!!!! So I went shopping right away on Thursday, how much fun!!!! Untill now I´ve only worked with freebies and June´s stuff for the CT!!!! I already knew what would be the first thing I´d buy, I´d taken a look at it the day before, I bought KimB´s grabbag, well worth the money I can tell you that!!!!

Here are some of the quickpages I used. The first to I got from http://kimbsdesigns.blogspot.com. They are made with her Unda Da Sea kit, just perfect for these pics. The first one was made by jeannete and the 2d by Kim herself!


The next 2 quickpage are a totally diferent style, made with kits from http://pamleforsdesigns.blogspot.com/ The first one using Divine Turquiose Kit. The second one using Sunshinedaze kit.



Finally we´re getting to the paperpacks. It is the first time I made some papers, using the tips and links from June Tuesday chat. Hope you like them, I´de love to see it if you make any LO using the papers, and any comments, suggestions, help is welcome!!!!!!!! You can´t really see in the previes, but both have a flower kind of texture....

Just sharing some LO´s!!!

It´s been ages since I blogged for the last time, almost 2 months!!!!!! And my computer was just broken down for 2 weeks so no scrapping, I found out that teher were a bunch of LOs that I didn´t post yet, including 2 for the CT team, using the faded beauty kit and grafity kit both from June Schutrups. You can find the link under the LO´s. Most of the LO´s were for challneges as well, but I don´t even remember which, but for sure it were challenges at retrodiva.net and digitalfreebies.com, probably for template challenges!!!!! Feel free to leave a comment!

2006 was not an easy year for us, my brother died, we left the project we were working at, but in this same year God put Efraim in our family at the perfect timing! He always made us laugh and forget the bad things, he´ll always be our joy!

Don´t you all love the ABC-kits Pamela from digitreats is giving away??? Can´t believe it she doing 3 at a time: RUN, JUMP and SKIP, they´re all so very cute, and so many nice add-ons to it. She made me definitely want to make a ABC book with all 3 kits (just don´t know where I´ll find the time......). Check her blog out here. Here´s what I made yesterday with the JUMP kit and the RUN kit. The first is for the template challenge this week with June from Cens´Stuff, template is stil available on her blog. The second one is a thank you card I made for people who support us financially. (´Cause as missionaries we depend on offerings).

13 LO´s to share!!!!!!!

In my last post I wrote I was about to make my 100th LO, but I was WRONG!!!!!! Actually I had already made nr. 100.......I upload all of my LO´s to the digitalfreebies gallery, and my gallery count was on nr.99, than I noticed that there was one LO I hadn´t uploaded to the gallery, it was the LO I made for Flergs CT-contest, ´cause when I tried to upload it the gallery was giving me problesm, I wanted to upload the next day but forgot!!!!!! So actually my number 100 LO was the one I made of me and my husband, how cool is that!!!!????? This weekend I really was on the roll with my scrapping, decided that I had to finish my son´s first year book, whcih I made hybrid, but some pics I did not scrap yet, I hadn´t even printed the pics, so I decided to make some digital pages to complement his book, to make this quicker I took a look at my collection of quickpages, they sure are quick ones!!!! Now I just going to get them printed in holland, (that´s why I love internet!!!!!) ´cause photoprinting is so much more expensive here in brazil, and than put the pages in his album so I can continue with the book of the second year...... (thos I´ll probably print in an album.......)so here are my creations.....

Some more Layouts to share, and a freebie!!!!!! I´ve been using some of my Quickpages, adapting them a bit with my own stuff for some quick scrapping, I have so many pictures to scrap, and adding every week, I can´t keep up!!!!! My son with his new shoes we brought from holland, they were really cheap, but so cool, and he´s making a lot of succes with them here!!! The pics show him using them the first time, he doesn´t really like to wear shoes, as usually around the house he´s barefoot, as it is 30 degrees here the year around!!!

The next 2 layouts were a request from a friend who´s a missionary in the netherlands antills, I´ve made some LO´s for her before. They had 2 volunteers from holland leaving and she asked me to make a goodbye presents, she send me the pics and this is what I made of it. Both have a scripture on it. "Landhuis Mount Pleasant" is the name of the house, and I cut it from a picture, the "kinderdorp Hebron" I also cut from a picture and put it on a tag. Think it turned out well, made it in 8,5x11 for easier printing and framing. If anyone is interested I could make them into templates, let me know!!!!
